Friends of the Library
Who we are
Established October 3, 1950, Friends of the Pleasant Hills Library is an independent, non-profit group, whose mission is to support the Pleasant Hills Library through fundraising efforts and other assistance to ensure that the library can continue to engage the community in literacy & learning.
Our Mission:
- To inform the public of the resources, services and possibilities of the library
- To encourage use of the library
- To stimulate interest in and support of the library and its activities
- To raise funds toward the support of the library

Visit the Friends’ BOOK NOOK is inside the library for used books & puzzles for all ages!
The Friends’ group is not currently planning an annual used book sale.
HOWEVER, they do continue to sell donated items in the BOOK NOOK shelves in the library.
Due to space limitations, they can only accept small quantities of items brought directly to the library:
- newer adult books, published later than 2020, of high interest titles
- children’s books in GOOD, reusable condition
- puzzles/games
